The "FDC Rope Hanging Method" is a construction technique that involves securing large floating rocks and areas at risk of peeling and falling with anchors and wire ropes on a slope, where rockfalls are a concern. By installing a new device called a tension manager, which incorporates springs at both ends of the wire rope, a semi-permanent tension is maintained in the wire rope.
